Day 101: Is Sarah Palin doing any good for women?

I first heard of Sarah Palin when she was campaigning with John McCain. She has good stage presence. She is very presentable, not old and haggard. She is attractive. I think the reason so many voters liked her was because of her ability to connect with them. Her youngest son has Down Syndrome. She supported the advocacy groups and they supported her.

I think Sarah Palin is doing good for women. She is paving a path for future female presidents. During her live all candidates meeting, I don't think she expressed her views and the views of her party clearly. Maybe it's part of being a politician, to dance around the subject until you are tired. She is showing that a female can achieve anything in politics. But she should have better writers or maybe a better coach. Her answers seems unprepared.

Being in the public eye also means controversy. Maybe that's her way of being in the public eye. Maybe the media probed too much in her personal life? In regards to her daughters pregnanacy, does everyone really need to know? I guess they need to know if Sarah was talking about teenage pregnancy. Her wardrobe made headlines because of their hefty price tags. These days it's about her and Levi Johnson (her ex son in law) duking it out verbally. Levi is writing a book about his life while he was with Sarah's daughter. A year after her campaign, she is still in the headlines.
